Parable House is a Habitat for Humanity House.  Habitat builds houses for individuals that would normally be shut out of the housing market because of income or prices.  The houses are built using extensive volunteer labor.  The future home owners are required to put in sweat equity, either in their own or in other Habitat for Humanity houses as part of their commitment to home ownership.  Parable House is sponsored by Shalom Community Church,  Huron Hills Baptist Church, Knox Presbyterian, Westminister Presbyterian and First Christian Reformed Church.
