Airports

We are a half hour from West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale airports.

Walk the Beach

A one-mile walkway along the ocean, newly paved and landscaped, offers a lovely walk to downtown Deerfield Beach.

Shopping & Dining in Deerfield Beach

Walk out to the Pier, or stroll through town and enjoy shopping and great restaurants. Choose an ocean view table at JB's or have a burger at Flanigan's. For authentic south Florida seafood try the phenomenal Whales Rib, featured on The Food Channel's Drive-Ins, Diners and Dives. Don’t forget dessert at Kilwin's or Ben and Jerry's.

About a mile over the inner-coastal you’ll find restaurants, coffee chains, grocery and drug stores.

Adjacent Cities
Boca Raton is ten minutes away and offers upscale shopping and some of the finest dining in South Florida. Del Ray Beach is a 20-minute drive north, and Fort Lauderdale and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea are 20 minutes south.

Sports

There are plenty of places close by where you can book ocean sport activities such as scuba diving, deep sea fishing and cruises. Because this is Florida, count on great golf. We’re about 15 minutes away from plenty of high quality courses. The public course, Deer Creek, is on par with any country club. Or get serious and experience the PGA National, Crandon Park, Doral or Herron Bay.

Kids Stuff

If you can get them away from the beach, there are a number of activities and parks for the kids, not to mention multiple fairs and festivals that happen up and down the coast throughout the year. From late spring to early fall, your family can witness the hatching and migration of sea turtles right on our beach.
